Lithium Ion Battery Binder SBR

The Binder is an inactive component in the electrode sheet of the lithium ion battery,and its main function is to connect the electrode active material,the conductive agent and the electrode current collector, so as to have an overall connectivity between the electrode active material,the conductive agent and the electrode current collector,thereby reducing the impedance of the small electrode.

 

Acoording to the dispersion of the binder in the electrode,it can be divided into point type,line type and body type.

 

Currently commonly used binders are:CMC,PVDF,PTFE,SBR,Aqueous binder LA132/133,BAP-L

Physical character:
1,Appearance:milk white Viscous emulsion,No mechanical impurities.
2,Solid content:50±2%
3,Viscosity:50-300(mPa.s )
 

Chemical Character:
1,PH 6-8
2,residual styrene ≤0.02
 

Testing Method:
1,Color,Appearance: visual inspection
2,Solid content: Loss on drying
