1.Structure

1)Split  test cell
1. The insulating mold consists of a pressure bar with an inner diameter of 10mm(other size can be customized ), a pressure plate, a gasket, a mold bottom, an insulating peek sleeve, and a peek pressure plate.
2. Outside the mold (with peek sleeve) 40mm.
10mm inner diameter.
 Overall height 85mm.

2)Fixture
1. 3pcs M8 screw rods, 90mm diameter cover composed.
2. The outer diameter of the device is 90mm, and the total height of the screw rod is 130mm.

2.Pressure Test:
The pressure can reach 300-400mpa.
The pressure of the press to 1 ton is equal to the pressure of 125mpa
Long-term powder pressing 3 tons force, about 360mpa pressure.


3.Advantage :
1. The German Gale peek kit, including the insulating press, also uses peek.
2. Double sealing ring technology to better ensure mold sealing. (Press the sealing sheet to be Teflon, compared with peek, it fits the sealing ring better and makes the sealing better)

4. The pressure column, spacer, and mold bottom are processed by grinding machine to have a better plane and smoothness.

4.Assembly of the solid state battery:
The whole process needs to be done in a glove box.
First, about 100-200mg of solid electrolyte powder is added into the polymer mold, and the two ends are inserted into the mold and then compacted into a tablet with a hydraulic press. The pressure in this step is about 300-400MPa. Subsequently, the mold is taken out, while the sheet-like electrolyte is still in the polymer mold, and one or more of the composite electrode material/metal electrode/blocking electrode/current collector are sequentially added to the sheet-like electrolyte. Finally, the metal mold is added for compression. The pressure in this step is about 80-150MPa. If there are lithium sheets or indium sheets, the pressure should be reduced to within 80MPa.
The mold is then fully loaded into the mold housing for testing.
