Cathode material for sodium ion battery
1) Product introduction
The high tap density sodium-ion battery cathode material sodium vanadium phosphate has the advantages of high specific capacity, excellent rate performance and long cycle life. It has a voltage plateau of 3.4V (relative to the metal Na electrode) and a theoretical capacity of 117.6mAn/g. Mainly used in large-scale sodium ion battery energy storage technology.
2)X-ray diffraction analysis
From the XRD diffraction analysis results, it can be seen that this product is sodium vanadium phosphate with a pure phase sodium superion conductor structure, and no other impurity phases are produced.
3) Scanning electron microscope
The SEM image shows that the product is a uniform sphere, and the EDS result shows that the surface of the sodium vanadium phosphate sphere is coated with a uniform amorphous carbon layer.
4) Charging and discharging curve diagram
It can be seen from the 1C charge-discharge curve that sodium vanadium phosphate has a pair of charge-discharge platforms, which are caused by the oxidation-reduction reaction between V3+/V4+.
5) Cycle life
From the 1C and 10C cycle life diagrams, it can be seen that sodium vanadium phosphate has excellent cycle stability. At 1C charge and discharge current density, after 200 cycles, the capacity does not decrease. At a current density of 10C, the first discharge specific capacity is higher than 105mAh/g, after 2000 cycles, the discharge capacity is still higher than 85mAhg, and the capacity retention rate is higher than 80%.
